“New in our homes” of Verchères

An unprecedented renovation accompanied by an innovative communication plan !

• In a New Urban Renewal Program regarding the neighborhood with a specific financing system
• Rehabilitation of 300 floor-to-ceiling dwellings in empty apartments.
• A unique residential mobility project with temporary relocation of 80 families to be rehoused, in turn, in the 25 hotel apartments furnished and equipped for a period of 2 months.
• The tenant’s furniture will be stored in a furniture repository. They will then be reinstalled in the completely renovated housing.
• A specific communication plan “New in our homes” has been put in place to encourage residents to support this rehabilitation by helping to understand it, by facilitating the acceptance of the inconveniences associated with it and accompanying the teams working on the field.
• This is mainly to allow tenants to project beyond the period of work to imagine their renovated living environment.
• The concept of the plan that adopts the codes of the hotel industry, allows each tenant to live this period of housing as a unique experience.
• Creation of a logo, a place of a bubble of comfort, the lobby, signage facilitating orientation in the residence, a relocation guide to prepare for the move, and a video facilitating the understanding of the project.
